Smyth Bus is actively seeking new drivers to join our family-owned company! Earn between $22.50 and $23.50 per hour.

Bring your kids to work
Forget skyrocketing day care costs. Bring your kids to work with you! Unlike some companies, we have no age requirement for your child to ride with you.
Paid CDL training. No experience required.
Have no experience driving buses? No problem! We offer paid CDL Class B in-house training. You must be 21+ and have held a valid CT driver's license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record.
Have your summers & holidays off
You'll be guaranteed a minimum of 20 hours during normal school weeks, although most runs exceed this. Additional charter hours are available year-round, as well as summer school hours.
Earn up to $23.50/hr, plus weekly & monthly attendance bonuses
Earn between $22.50 and $23.50 per hour once licensed and upon completion of a 3-month probationary period. We offer weekly and monthly bonuses for perfect attendance. We also offer a $500 referral bonus if you're a current employee.
Drive the best maintained buses
We take pride in our fleet and have an impeccable maintenance and safety record. You'll quickly be able to tell the difference between a Smyth bus and a bus from another company.
